We recently had the privilege of photographing the annual Savor Tea & Luncheon fundraiser for Women in the Window!
Women in the Window International has been serving women in the most challenging regions of the world, replacing poverty and injustice with dignity and purpose in Christ for over 10 years. We enjoyed listening to how this tea and luncheon allows the organization to continue this crucial work training women in spiritual formation, leadership development, business and economic development, preventative health education, and human rights awareness and involvement.
The event took place at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. The ladies in the organization started with a prayer circle to kick off the event. Guests arrived in the atrium and bid on donated items from local businesses in a silent auction. (Side note: As a girl who is slightly obsessed with cute teapots and tea cups, I was so tempted to bid on one! I mean, look at that blue one pictured below. Adorable. But Dan reminded me we have no extra cabinet space. Darn...) The ladies mingled as we took photos of different groups, then moved into the auditorium for tea. A woman came all the way from Bangladesh to speak on how they are changing women's lives through the ministry. They are bringing many from the majority religion to Christ and, at the same time, waging war against prostitution and human trafficking.
It was a lovely event and we are so glad we could partner with this amazing organization that is helping so many women!
